We are looking for candidates for PhD studies in Prague in the field of
Liquid Crystals and we would very grateful if you can recommend us any
suitable candidates. We have two positions available now and we are
interested in both experimental physicists (more preferential) and
chemists. The duration of the study is 4 years.
The formal procedure should be started ASAP but not later than in January
2016. The most promising candidates will be invited to Prague for the
interview and for arrangement of the application formalities. The deadline
for the document submission is in early March. The entrance exams (physics
and English) are in June. The start of the PhD studies is September 2016.
The PhD student will get the scholarship and will be partially paid by the
Institute.
The potential candidate should have at least basic knowledge of English
and MSc diploma (or equivalent) defended before June 2016.
