We invite you to participate in the course "EXAFS for beginners" on 8-18 September in Lund at the MAX IV Laboratory. The aim of the course is to give a comprehensive introduction for tentative EXAFS spectroscopy users at MAX-lab, and to introduce the basic concepts of EXAFS spectroscopy experiment design, theory and data analysis. Participants will also have the opportunity to perform experiments at the I811 beamline at the MAX IV Laboratory. See the preliminary schedule for more information.
The course is free of charge, but number of participants is limited to 30.
The participats are responsible for organizing their own travel and accomodation.
