We are currently looking for a PhD candidate in H2 production for vehicles.
The hydrogen demonstrator attached to the Laboratory of Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry (LEPA) is looking to hire a PhD collaborator to be focused on the design and implementation of a hydrogen production site together with a hydrogen refilling station for fuel-cell vehicles.
The demonstrator is located in the city of Martigny (Valais), at the site of a wastewater treatement facility. This project is partially funded by the Federal Office of Energy (OFEN) and is carried in collaboration with the CREM (Centre de Recherches Energetiques et Municipales) and the local electricity distributor (Sinergy).
The Candidate should have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in French is higly desirable. The candidate will develop his/her research between the sites of Martigny and Sion and follow the courses of the doctoral program in Lausanne. The starting date is February 1st or later.
