The XXVII Edition of the Distributed Doctoral School on Metamaterials will be held on May 4-8, 2015 in Rome, Italy.
The school, organized by "Roma Tre" University and METAMORPHOSE VI AISBL, will be focused on Electromagnetic, acoustic, and thermal invisibility and forsees 16 hours of teaching and 8 hours of guided study and exercises.

Cancellation policy:
- after April 4, 2015: no refund
- before April 4, 2015: 20% refund
- before March 4, 2015: 50% refund
- before Feb 4, 2014: 70% refund
- before Jan 4, 2015: total refund minus 10% of handling fees
Grants
Two 300 Euro travel grants will be given to motivated students for attending the school. Please, send your application (CV + letter signed by your supervisor certifying your student status) to the school coordinator Filiberto Bilotti ( bilotti@uniroma3.it) by 10 February 2015.
Visa
Should you need a visa for attending the school, please, send an email to secretary@metamorphose-vi.orgcontaining all the data you need to appear in the invitation letter and a signed document by your supervisor certifying that you are coming to Rome for attending the school.
Accommodation
Rome is a big city and you can find several different types of accommodation. The school place is just 10 minutes walking from Metro B that takes you to the city centre in 5-15 minutes (Piramide: 5 minutes, Colosseo: 10 minutes, Termini Station: 15 minutes). Therefore, suggestion is to find an accommodation by your own which is in the city centre and conveniently located along the Metro B line. In this way, you will enjoy the beautiful heart of Rome at night and move to/from the school place quickly and easily by Metro during the day.
