9 декабря состоится бесплатный вебинар "Multiphysics Simulation on Clusters"
As technology progresses, design challenges become increasingly demanding. Adding real-world detail to computer-generated models can often require massive computational power. Parallel computing has the potential to bring that power to every engineer and scientist. This webinar gives a practical introduction to parallel computing for simulation and demonstrates the ease-of-use advances that can make the set up and deployment of models to clusters a straightforward endeavour.
The webinar will run for approximately 45 minutes with time for a Q&A at the end.
Speakers:
Niklas Rom
VP of Engineering, COMSOL
Niklas Rom received his PhD in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Before joining COMSOL he worked in the thermal-power industry. Niklas has been VP of Engineering at COMSOL for nine years, where he manages technical customer support and training.
Henrik Steepler
Microsoft HPC Partner Business Development Manager, Microsoft
Henrik Steepler gained his PhD in computer science in 1999 at Chalmers University, Sweden. He has worked at Microsoft for seven years on emerging markets such as security and virtualization, and since 2007 on the firm’s high performance computing (HPC) initiative. He now manages Microsoft’s partner network for HPC in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Attendance is free.
